What is ALSA - FORM;
ALSA - FORM is THERMOFORMABLE DECORATIVE SHEET that is composed of ABS plastic sheets, laminated with a decorative film (such as burls, woodgrain, carbon fiber, brushed metal, metallics and more). It is then "capped" (or laminated) with a clear film which provides UV protection, scratch resistance, and gloss.

  (up to 2:1 ratio)
• Excellent scratch resistant
• Excellent UV resistant
• 24 standard sheet sizes ranging from 24"x49" up to 36"x72", with gages ranging from .020" up to .225"
• Non-stock sheet sizes also available with lengths up to 130"
• 3 standard rollstock gages of .020", .030", and .040" with widths up to 24"
• Rollstock widths are available up to 32" wide
• High gloss or matte finish available
• Adhesive backing is also available for non-formable applications
• Most films are 36" wide

Why is it better than hydrographics? (water printing)

• Thermoforming can provide much larger parts
• Gravuer printing process provides higher quality decorative images
• No waste or high rejection rate
• Part to part consistant in pattern
• No clear coat painting necessary. Clear cap provides scratch resistence, UV protection, and chemical resistance.
